The Shape Shifting group exhibition was held in 2022 at ASAU (A Space Among Us), a multi-brand store in Wijaya, Jakarta. Curated by Ula Zuhra, the show featured eight artists working across various media. Each artist was tasked with responding to products within ASAU while staying true to their own artistic practice.
Doctor Poop chose to respond to products from the brands La Douche Vita and Tigah Home, as they aligned perfectly with her playful, childlike illustrative style. She depicted her signature Kewpie character posing with flower- and star-headed dolls, as if taking a self-portrait with imaginary friends. This illustration was presented in a custom-made frame featuring patterns frequently incorporated into her tattoo work.
